A Prayer When I Am Afraid of Failing
Fear of failure can make work feel heavier than the task itself. This prayer is for perfectionism, performance anxiety, or a responsibility that feels larger than our confidence, especially when we are tempted to measure our worth by a single outcome.
Father, I am afraid I will not be good enough for what is expected of me today. I worry about mistakes, criticism, and disappointing people. Help me prepare carefully without worshiping perfection. Remind me that one failure cannot define my life and one success cannot secure my worth. Give me courage to try, humility to learn, and resilience if something goes wrong. Keep fear from making decisions for me. Let me work from a place of responsibility and trust rather than panic.
