A Prayer When I Feel Unappreciated at Work
Many people work hard without receiving recognition, gratitude, or encouragement. This prayer is for seasons when effort feels invisible and resentment begins to grow, asking God for healthy perspective without pretending that unfairness, poor leadership, or lack of appreciation never matter.
Lord, I am tired of feeling unnoticed. I have worked hard, carried responsibility, and sometimes it seems as though no one sees or values it. Keep disappointment from turning into bitterness. Help me know when I should speak honestly about what is unfair and when I simply need to release my need for praise. Remind me that my worth is not determined by compliments, titles, or applause. Give me strength to continue doing good work without becoming cynical. And if it is time for change, give me wisdom to recognize that too.
