Privacy & Advertising

We respect your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what information is collected when you visit and how advertising works on this site.

Last updated: this is a template. Please review with a qualified professional before publishing, and adapt it to your jurisdiction (for example, GDPR or CCPA requirements).

Information we collect

The Christianity Project is largely a static website. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for personal information to read the Bible or browse our resources. Your reading position in the Bible reader and your light/dark theme preference are stored only in your own browser (using localStorage) and are never sent to us.

Advertising & cookies

This site may display advertising through Google AdSense. To provide ads, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone's prior visits to this or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • You can learn more, and opt out of some third-party vendors' uses of cookies for personalized advertising, at aboutads.info.

Analytics

If analytics tools are added in the future, they may collect anonymous, aggregated information such as which pages are visited and general location. This information helps us improve the site and is not used to personally identify you.

Children's privacy

We care deeply about young visitors to our Bible for Kids & Families section. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise their children online.

Your choices

You can clear your browser's storage at any time to remove your saved reading position and theme preference. You can also manage or disable cookies through your browser settings.
