A Prayer Before Working From Home
Working from home can blur the boundaries between professional responsibilities and personal life. This prayer is for creating a healthy rhythm, staying focused while working, and remaining present to household relationships instead of allowing work to quietly take over the entire day.
God, thank You for the ability to work from this place today. Help me create order where work and home overlap. Give me focus during work hours and the discipline to stop when the workday is done. Keep me from drifting into distraction, but also from treating every moment at home as though it belongs to my job. Help me communicate clearly with the people I live with and respect their needs as well as my responsibilities. Let this space become a place of faithful work without losing the peace and relationships of home.
