A Prayer to Live With Strength and Courage
Strength and courage are not only for emergencies. They are daily qualities formed through faithful choices, honest dependence on God, and the willingness to keep doing what is right over time.
Faithful God, form strength and courage in me for ordinary life. Give me strength that is not hardness, courage that is not recklessness, and confidence that does not depend on always succeeding. Teach me to endure what must be endured, change what needs to be changed, ask for help when needed, and stand firm when truth requires it. When I am afraid, keep me from surrendering my values. When I am tired, help me rest without quitting. Let my strength be rooted in You and expressed through patience, integrity, and love.
