A Prayer for Courage to Speak the Truth
Speaking honestly can feel risky when relationships, reputation, or workplace dynamics are involved. This prayer asks for courage that is truthful without becoming harsh or self-righteous.
God, give me courage to speak truthfully when silence would be easier. Help me choose the right time, the right words, and the right tone. Keep me from using truth as a weapon or hiding behind politeness when something important must be said. If I need to challenge wrongdoing, protect me from fear. If I need to admit my own fault, protect me from pride. Let courage and humility stay together.
