A Prayer of Praise for the Holy Spirit's Presence
Christian praise includes gratitude and reverence for the Holy Spirit, who comforts, convicts, teaches, and forms Christlike character in believers.
Holy Spirit, I praise God for Your presence and work. Thank You for bringing truth to mind, exposing what needs to change, strengthening what is weak, and producing fruit that I cannot manufacture by willpower alone. Keep me sensitive to Your correction and dependent on Your help. Shape my character so that love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control become increasingly visible.
Amen.
