A Prayer of Praise for God the Creator
Creation repeatedly calls the worshiper beyond self-absorption. This prayer praises God for the beauty, order, scale, and life found throughout the world He made.
Creator God, the heavens declare Your glory and the earth displays Your wisdom. I praise You for light and shadow, oceans and mountains, trees and birds, seasons and stars, and the extraordinary complexity of ordinary life. Keep me from moving through creation without wonder. Let beauty turn my attention toward You and teach me to care responsibly for what You have made.
Amen.
