A Prayer of Praise for God's Justice
Praise includes God's justice as well as His tenderness. This prayer honors Him as the One who loves what is right, sees wrongdoing clearly, and does not call evil good.
Righteous God, I praise You because justice matters to You. You see what is hidden, hear the cries of those who are mistreated, and do not confuse power with righteousness. Teach me to love justice without becoming self-righteous. Correct me where I benefit from what is unfair and give me courage to act with integrity. I praise You as the Judge whose justice is joined with mercy and truth.
Amen.
