A Prayer of Praise for God's Mercy
Christian praise is inseparable from mercy. We worship a God who does not delight in condemnation but welcomes repentance and extends grace through Christ.
Merciful God, I praise You because compassion is part of who You are. You see sin clearly and still call people toward repentance and life. You do not treat me as my failures deserve, but meet me with grace through Christ. Keep me from taking mercy lightly. Let Your kindness lead me toward humility, repentance, and a life that reflects the grace I have received.
Amen.
