A Prayer When Lent Feels Difficult
Spiritual disciplines can reveal weakness rather than immediate progress. This prayer is for the days when Lent feels frustrating, inconsistent, or spiritually dry.
God, I am not moving through this season as faithfully as I hoped. I am distracted, inconsistent, and sometimes discouraged. Keep me from turning Lent into a test of my worth. Meet me in weakness and teach me to begin again without excuses or shame. Let small acts of faithfulness matter. Form perseverance in me, not perfectionism.
