A Prayer for Maundy Thursday
Maundy Thursday remembers Jesus washing His disciples' feet and sharing the Last Supper. This prayer asks for humility, service, and Christlike love.
Lord Jesus, You knelt to serve Your disciples and commanded them to love one another. Teach me a love that is practical, not merely sentimental. Show me where pride keeps me from serving and where resentment keeps me from loving. Make me willing to do quiet work that receives no applause. Let Your example reshape the way I use authority, time, and attention.
Amen.
