A Prayer for Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday remembers Jesus entering Jerusalem to public acclaim while moving toward the cross. This prayer asks for a discipleship deeper than temporary enthusiasm.
Lord Jesus, the crowds welcomed You with praise, yet You continued toward the cross. Keep my faith from depending only on excitement or favorable circumstances. Teach me to follow You when obedience is costly and when public approval disappears. Let my praise be joined to loyalty, humility, and action. Make me a disciple who stays near You beyond the celebration.
Amen.
