An Advent Prayer of Hope
Advent begins with waiting, and waiting is rarely easy. This prayer asks God to renew hope while we remember the promises fulfilled in Christ and await His work in our lives.
God of hope, as Advent begins, teach me to wait with trust rather than impatience. You kept Your promises in sending Christ, and You remain faithful now. When circumstances feel uncertain, remind me that darkness is not final. Fill me with hope rooted in Your character, not in perfect conditions. Help me live expectantly, faithfully, and generously as I prepare to celebrate the coming of Jesus.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
