An Advent Prayer for Peace
The season can become busy and emotionally crowded. This prayer asks for the peace of Christ to shape the heart before schedules, shopping, travel, and expectations take over.
Prince of Peace, quiet what is restless in me. Slow the pace of my heart even when the season around me feels rushed. Keep me from confusing activity with meaning. Let Your peace govern my reactions, my conversations, and my plans. Where there is tension in my family or anxiety in my mind, give me wisdom and patience. Prepare me to welcome Christ with a peaceful and attentive spirit.
