A Prayer for Protection From Temptation
Spiritual protection includes the choices we make when temptation is strong. This prayer asks for clarity, self-control, and practical ways to avoid patterns that repeatedly lead toward harm.
Lord, lead me away from temptation and give me strength when it comes. Help me recognize the situations, habits, and excuses that make me vulnerable. Show me when I need to leave, call someone, change a routine, or remove access to something that repeatedly pulls me down. Protect me from believing that I am stronger than I really am. Give me humility to use the way of escape You provide and courage to choose what leads to life.
