A Prayer for Protection From Fear
Fear can sometimes protect us by alerting us to danger, but it can also become a prison when it controls every decision. This prayer asks for courage and discernment rather than denial of real risk.
Father, protect me from fear that distorts everything around me. When danger is real, help me respond wisely. When fear is exaggerating the threat, help me recognize that too. Give me courage to move forward without becoming careless. Keep me from making my world smaller simply to avoid uncertainty. Teach me to live with alertness, freedom, and trust rather than constant dread.
