A Prayer for Protection in an Unsafe Neighborhood
Some communities face higher levels of violence, crime, or instability. This prayer asks for protection while also praying for justice, effective public safety, and strong local relationships.
God, protect the people who live in this neighborhood. Guard children walking to school, workers coming home late, families inside their homes, and those who serve the community. Restrain violence and expose those who prey on others. Give wisdom to local leaders, law enforcement, churches, schools, and neighbors working for safety. Help us take sensible precautions without losing compassion for one another. Build trust where fear has isolated people and justice where harm has become normal.
