A Prayer for Protection Over Our Church Community
Churches need protection not only from external harm but also from abuse of power, secrecy, division, and spiritual manipulation. This prayer asks for integrity, accountability, and safety within Christian community.
Lord Jesus, protect Your church from harm both outside and within. Give leaders humility, accountability, and courage to address wrongdoing. Protect children, vulnerable adults, volunteers, staff, and every person who comes seeking God. Expose abuse, manipulation, financial dishonesty, and misuse of authority. Help us refuse secrecy when transparency is needed. Make our community a place where truth is welcomed, concerns are taken seriously, and people are treated with dignity.
Amen.
