A Prayer for Protection While Traveling
Travel involves many factors outside our control, from traffic and weather to delays and unfamiliar places. This prayer asks for safety while also encouraging attentiveness and wise preparation.
Lord, go with me on this journey. Protect everyone on the road, in the air, or along the route ahead. Give drivers patience and alertness, keep us from distraction, and help us respond wisely to changing weather or delays. Protect our belongings, our health, and the people traveling with us. If plans need to change for safety, give me flexibility rather than frustration. Bring us to our destination in peace.
Amen.
