A Prayer for My Children's Protection
Parents cannot be physically present with their children every moment. This prayer asks for protection while also seeking wisdom to teach children good judgment, healthy boundaries, and age-appropriate independence.
Father, I entrust my children to You. Protect them at home, at school, with friends, online, and wherever I cannot see them. Give them discernment to recognize unsafe situations and courage to speak up when something feels wrong. Surround them with trustworthy adults and good friends. Protect their bodies, minds, and hearts from people who would manipulate, exploit, or harm them. Help me teach them wisdom without teaching them to live in fear. Give me the humility to listen when they tell me something is wrong.
