Thank You for My Home
Home may be spacious or small, quiet or busy, owned or rented. Whatever its form, shelter can become a place of gratitude rather than comparison. This prayer gives thanks for the protection and belonging a home can provide and asks that it become a place where grace is practiced.
Father, thank You for the place I call home. It may not be perfect, and there may be things I wish were different, but I am grateful for shelter, rest, and the memories being formed here. Bless everyone who enters this space. Help me care for it without turning possessions into my identity. Let this home be marked by welcome, honesty, forgiveness, laughter, prayer, and peace.
Amen.
