A Thanksgiving Prayer for Workers
Many people work on Thanksgiving in hospitals, transportation, emergency services, hospitality, retail, and other essential roles. This prayer remembers their labor.
Lord, bless those who are working today while others gather and rest. Give strength to healthcare workers, drivers, emergency personnel, restaurant staff, caregivers, and all whose work continues through the holiday. Protect them from exhaustion and disrespect. Help us notice their service and treat them with patience, gratitude, and kindness.
Amen.
