A Thanksgiving Prayer for Enough
Holiday culture often encourages excess. This prayer asks for contentment, moderation, and freedom from the idea that celebration must always mean more.
Father, teach me the freedom of enough. Thank You for what is present without making me chase more in order to feel satisfied. Keep me from comparing my home, meal, family, or resources with someone else's. Give me contentment without complacency and generosity without display. Let simplicity make gratitude easier to notice.
