A Thanksgiving Prayer for Generosity
Thanksgiving is an opportunity to move from gratitude to generosity. This prayer asks that abundance become a reason to share rather than a reason to become comfortable.
Generous God, thank You for what You have provided. Do not let gratitude stop at words. Show me where I can share food, money, time, attention, or practical help. Keep my generosity from becoming self-congratulation. Help me give in ways that respect the dignity of others. Let thanksgiving overflow into service.
