A Prayer for Health and Care in the New Year
Health goals are common at the beginning of a year. This prayer asks for wise care of body and mind without promising perfect health or treating illness as spiritual failure.
God, help me care wisely for the body and mind I have been given. Give me discipline without obsession, rest without guilt, and courage to seek medical or professional help when needed. Where health is uncertain, sustain me without false promises. Teach me to make realistic choices that support well-being and to treat my body with gratitude rather than shame.
