A Prayer for Family Relationships in the New Year
Family patterns do not automatically change when the calendar does. This prayer asks for patience, truthful communication, forgiveness, and healthy boundaries in the year ahead.
Lord, bless my family relationships this year. Where we are close, deepen gratitude. Where there is tension, help us communicate with more honesty and less defensiveness. Give me humility to apologize and wisdom to recognize where healthy boundaries are necessary. Keep me from trying to control everyone else's choices. Teach me to love faithfully, speak truth graciously, and contribute to peace where peace is possible.
