A Prayer for Career Direction
Career questions can involve purpose, finances, family responsibilities, opportunity, and identity all at once. This prayer asks for guidance that balances calling with practical wisdom.
God, guide me in my work and career decisions. Show me where my abilities can be used well and where I need to keep learning. Help me consider income, stability, family needs, growth, and purpose without making any one of them an idol. Give me wisdom about opportunities that look attractive but are not healthy, and courage to pursue work that is honest and sustainable. Lead me toward work I can do with integrity.
Amen.
