A Prayer for Guidance Before Moving
Moving to a new city or state can affect work, finances, family, church, and community. This prayer asks for practical and spiritual clarity before making a major transition.
Lord, I am considering a move, and I need wisdom. Help me think clearly about work, housing, finances, family, community, and the practical realities of starting over. Keep me from romanticizing a new place or fearing change simply because it is unfamiliar. Give me good counsel and enough patience to research what I need to know. If I move, help me go with peace. If I stay, help me stay without resentment.
