Thank You for the People in My Life
Relationships can be complicated, but they are also among life's greatest gifts. This prayer is a way to thank God for family, friends, mentors, neighbors, coworkers, and others whose presence has brought care, correction, companionship, or encouragement.
Gracious God, I thank You for the people You have placed in my life. Thank You for those who love me faithfully, those who have taught me, those who have challenged me to grow, and those who have stood near me in difficult seasons. Thank You for family, friends, mentors, neighbors, coworkers, and members of my church community. Forgive me for taking people for granted or noticing their faults more quickly than their kindness. Show me whom I should encourage today. Give me gratitude that expresses itself in words and actions, not only in private thoughts. Help me become the kind of person for whom others can also thank You.
