A Prayer for Hope in Grief
Christian hope does not erase grief. It allows sorrow and hope to exist together, trusting that death does not have the final word even while loss remains painful.
Lord Jesus, teach me to grieve with hope without pretending that death does not hurt. Thank You that Your resurrection changes the final meaning of death. When I feel overwhelmed by absence, remind me that sorrow is not the end of the story. Keep my hope rooted in You, not in forced optimism. Help me live faithfully now while trusting that You are making all things new.
Amen.
