A Prayer for a Sick Loved One
When someone we love is ill, concern can make us feel helpless. This prayer asks God for healing, wise medical care, comfort, and strength for both the sick person and those who love them.
Heavenly Father, I place my loved one in Your care. You know the illness, the pain, the fears, and the questions we cannot answer. I ask for healing and relief. Give wisdom to the doctors, nurses, and everyone involved in treatment. Strengthen this body, calm this mind, and bring comfort where there is suffering. Help our family support without overwhelming, hope without pretending, and stay present through each step.
