A Prayer Before My Loved One's Surgery
The hours before surgery can carry fear, hope, and many practical concerns. This prayer asks for skill, protection, and calm for the patient, medical team, and family.
God, as my loved one goes into surgery, surround them with Your care. Give the surgical team steady hands, clear judgment, and attention to every detail. Protect against complications and guide every decision. Calm the fear that none of us can completely remove. Give our family patience while we wait and trust enough to take this one step at a time. Bring my loved one safely through the procedure and into recovery.
