A Prayer When Home Feels Tense
Stress from work, finances, parenting, illness, or unresolved hurt can change the emotional climate of a household. This prayer is for moments when tension seems to be present in every room.
Jesus, this home feels tense right now. We are carrying too much stress into the way we speak and respond to one another. Slow us down. Help us notice when our tone is doing more damage than our words. Give each person space to breathe without withdrawing completely. Show us what needs a real conversation and what simply needs patience. Let peace begin with the next response, the next apology, and the next act of kindness.
