An Opening Prayer for Service and Mission
Church worship is meant to send believers back into the world as servants and witnesses. This prayer connects the gathering to practical love, justice, and mission.
God, as we gather, remind us that worship does not end when this service does. Shape us into people who serve neighbors, speak truth, care for the vulnerable, and carry the hope of Christ into ordinary places. Show us needs we have ignored and people we have overlooked. Let what we receive here become love in action when we leave.
Amen.
