A Prayer for Hope After Disappointment
Disappointment can be deeply discouraging because it often involves something we genuinely hoped for. This prayer asks for renewed hope without pretending the loss of an expectation does not matter.
God, I am disappointed, and I need time to admit that. I hoped for a different answer, a different outcome, or a different path. Help me grieve what did not happen without believing that nothing good can happen now. Renew my hope slowly. Show me what remains possible and what new direction may be opening. Keep disappointment from becoming bitterness or a final verdict on my future.
