A Prayer for Grief When Others Have Moved On
One of the loneliest parts of grief can come after others return to normal routines while the loss remains deeply present. This prayer is for feeling left behind in sorrow.
Father, people around me seem to have moved forward, but my grief is still here. I know they have their own lives, yet sometimes I feel forgotten. Bring people who are willing to remember with me and ask how I really am. Give me courage to say when I need support instead of pretending I am fine. Help me understand that grief has no simple timetable and that I do not have to match anyone else's pace.
