A Prayer for Working From Home
When home is also a workplace, boundaries can disappear and stress can spread into spaces meant for rest. This prayer asks for healthy rhythms and respect for both work and home life.
God, help me work faithfully from this home without letting work take over every room and every hour. Give me focus when it is time to work and discipline to stop when the workday is done. Help me respect the people who share this space and communicate clearly about what I need. Protect this home from becoming a place where I am always mentally at work. Let it remain a place for relationships, rest, prayer, and ordinary life too.
Amen.
