A Prayer for a Home Open to God
A Christian home is not defined by décor, slogans, or outward appearance. It is shaped by the way faith influences forgiveness, decisions, habits, generosity, and daily life.
Lord, let faith be real in this home. Keep us from reducing Christianity to words on a wall or habits we perform without thought. Let Your truth shape the way we speak, spend, forgive, welcome, work, rest, and make decisions. Give us rhythms of prayer and Scripture that are sincere rather than forced. May our home reflect Christ not through perfection, but through repentance, mercy, hospitality, and love.
Amen.
