A Prayer for a Home With Children
Homes with children are often noisy, messy, joyful, and exhausting all at once. This prayer asks for patience, safety, consistency, and grace in the everyday work of family life.
Father, thank You for the children in this home. Give us patience with noise, questions, messes, and repeated lessons. Help us create clear boundaries without turning the home into a place of constant criticism. Protect these children physically and emotionally. Let them know they are loved even when they are corrected. Give us the humility to apologize when we parent poorly and the endurance to keep doing the small things that create safety and trust.
