A Prayer to Release What I Cannot Control
Much of our inner unrest comes from trying to control outcomes, people, timing, or circumstances that lie beyond us. This prayer is an act of surrender rather than resignation.
Faithful God, I give You what I cannot control. I release the choices other people make, the timing I cannot speed up, the answers I cannot force, and the outcomes I cannot guarantee. Show me what responsibility is truly mine, and help me do that faithfully. Then give me the humility to stop reaching beyond it. I surrender the illusion that peace will come only when everything goes according to my plan. Teach me to trust You in the unresolved places.
