A Prayer for the Church at Easter
Easter gathers believers around the central Christian confession that Jesus is risen. This prayer asks for churches to proclaim that hope with truth, humility, and welcome.
God, bless Your church as we celebrate the resurrection. Keep our worship centered on Christ rather than spectacle, tradition, or attendance numbers. Give pastors and leaders clarity, humility, and courage. Make our communities welcoming to people who arrive uncertain, grieving, curious, or skeptical. Let the message of the risen Jesus be spoken truthfully and embodied through compassion, justice, and service.
Amen.
