God, Christmas feels lonely this year. The celebration around me seems to make the empty spaces more noticeable. Be near to me in this quiet. Remind me that my worth is not measured by how full my calendar or table is. Give me courage to reach out to safe people and openness to receive companionship where it is offered. Let the coming of Christ remind me that You entered our world to draw near.
