A Prayer to Live With Peace and Hope
Peace and hope are not signs that life has become easy. They are ways of living faithfully in the middle of uncertainty. This closing prayer asks God to shape both the inner life and everyday actions.
Faithful God, teach me to live with peace and hope rather than waiting for perfect circumstances before I begin. Let peace shape the way I speak, decide, work, and respond under pressure. Let hope keep me from cynicism when change is slow. Protect me from false optimism that ignores pain and from despair that refuses to see grace. Fill me with the hope that comes from Christ and the peace that does not depend on control. May both become visible in the way I live with other people.
