A Prayer for My Child's Friendships
Friendships can deeply influence a child's confidence, choices, and sense of belonging. This prayer asks God for healthy relationships and for courage when a friendship becomes harmful.
Father, guide my child in friendships. Bring people into my child's life who encourage honesty, kindness, courage, and growth. Help my child become that kind of friend to others as well. Give discernment to recognize manipulation, cruelty, pressure, and unhealthy loyalty. If a friendship needs to end or change, give courage and support. Protect my child from loneliness, but also from accepting harmful relationships simply to avoid being alone.
