A brief confession can be enough to end the day honestly before God. This prayer asks for mercy without turning repentance into self-condemnation.
Merciful God, forgive the ways I sinned today in thought, word, and action. Cleanse my heart, show me what I need to make right, and let me rest in Your grace.
