A Prayer for the Nation
Praying for a nation is not the same as declaring it righteous or superior. This prayer asks God for justice, wisdom, peace, and humility across public life.
God, we pray for our nation with humility. Give wisdom to those who lead, courage to those who serve, and protection to those who are vulnerable. Expose corruption, restrain violence, and strengthen what is just and good. Keep us from confusing patriotism with faithfulness to You. Teach us to seek the welfare of our neighbors and to measure public life by truth, mercy, justice, and human dignity.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
