A Prayer Before Leading a Bible Study
Leading Bible study carries responsibility. This prayer asks for careful preparation, humility, clarity, and freedom from the need to impress.
Lord, as I lead this study, keep me faithful to the text and honest about what I do not know. Help me prepare carefully and speak clearly without making the discussion about me. Give me patience with questions and sensitivity to the people in the room. Protect me from pride, careless claims, and the temptation to sound certain where Scripture leaves room for humility.
Amen.
