An Opening Prayer for a Church Service With Visitors
Visitors may enter a church carrying curiosity, uncertainty, past hurt, or little experience of Christian worship. This prayer asks for welcome without pressure and clarity without performance.
Lord, thank You for every person who has come today. Especially bless those who are visiting, returning after a long absence, or unsure what they believe. Keep us from making anyone feel watched, tested, or pressured. Help us welcome with warmth, explain clearly, and keep Christ at the center. Let truth and grace shape this gathering from beginning to end.
Amen.
